2010 Lost Creek Ranch Anual Homeowners Meeting: 3/25/10
Don't Waste Your Money... Send In Your Proxy or Attend!
(Date of this notice: February 24th; Date of the meeting: 3/25/10)
It's that time again... time for our annual LCR Homeowners Association Meeting. Ever wonder things like: What do your dues pay for? How might you help or make a difference in our neighborhood? Who are your elected (volunteer) board members? Who is running for the board this year? Come find out these things and more! Come vote for new and/or returning board members! If you want to run for the board, watch for the meeting notice and information in the mail (or contact CMA at 972-943-2870). And remember, board members are volunteers: If you bring a problem to the meeting, bring a solution.
This year's meeting will be at 7pm, on March 25th, at the Courtyard by Mariott, in The Village at Allen.
   - 210 East Stacy Road - Allen, TX 75002 - (214) 383-1151
Don't waste your money... These meetings cost you, and every other LCR homeowner, money. We must have a quorum of at least 20% of homes represented (that's over 200 homes in person or via proxy), or we all have to pay for another meeting. So, how can you keep from wasting your money? Log in to this site, then send in your proxy, then try your best to come to the meeting! Get your neighbors to do the same! Your proxy will let you name someone to vote for you if you can't make it to the meeting. You can name the President, another board member, or even a neighbor as your proxy. Just make sure whoever you name will be at the meeting to vote for you. If you decide to come to the meeting, your proxy will be handed back to you and you can vote in person, so be sure to send in your proxy now in case you can't make it. Spread the word to at least two neighbors and help make sure we don't have to pay for another meeting: Tell them to send in their proxy and then try their best to attend the meeting on March 25th!

New: Online Architectural Control Application Submission!
(February 20th)
The ACA Committee would like to announce a new feature of the CMA website. You can now submit your applications online! To do so, go to CMA Management's website at http://www.cmamanagement.com/.  If you don't already have a login, you can set one up by selecting "Need to Register?" in the upper right corner of the page. Once logged in, roll over the "Customer Service" tab and click "ACC Requests". There you can see all the requests you have pending or previously submitted as well as submit a new request. To submit, click the "New ACC Request" tab. Fill out the online application and attach necessary files, pictures/drawings, and plot survey. Once done, click "Submit ACC Request".
NOTE: Check the Lost Creek Ranch HOA website at
http://www.lostcreekranchhoa.com/ for current ACA Guidelines; this will help you determine what supporting documents you need to submit. Log in and look under "Resource Center" then see the "Governing Documents" (ACA guidelines start on page 86).
Submitting your application and supporting documentation electronically will not only provide a faster response time for you, but will help control administrative costs since our management company will not have to scan the information to store it digitally.
So sign up, sign in, and submit those Modification Applications online! It's convenient for you, the management company, and the ACA Committee!
Thank you,
ACA Committee Members

LCR Crime Watch Alert!
(January 21)
Monday the 18th an arrest was made!  A great amount of appreciation goes out to an alert and diligent LCR resident. She made a phone call to the Allen police last night when she noticed and watched a person that was up to no good in our neighborhood. Thanks to her, a few stolen items have already been returned. This is what it takes to keep our neighborhood safe!
NOTE: According to the police officers, they found several garage door openers in the suspects’ vehicle and several stolen items. They had an admission from the individual that he had broken into several vehicles and was also utilizing the garage door openers to obtain access to any garages he could get into.
So, please remember to lock your cars, close your garage doors, and remove any garage door openers and valuables if cars are left outside. I know we can forget at times but if we all watch out for each other and give a hand if you notice a door open, especially at night, we have a better chance to deter thieves.
Thanks again Crime Watchers, you made a difference!
